Masjid Jami' Al Baitul Amin

Jami ' Mosque Jember was built in 1973 and ended officially in 1976.
At first glance this building resembles the building design MPR / DPR in Senayan Jakarta. But Jami 'is better known as the mosque mushrooms. The name of this fungus to the mosque known throughout Asia and even East Java. Jami 'is built right in the center of the west plaza Jember - the town square, north of the mosque Jami' long, built in the style of the past that is filled with a line that influenced the design of the building - the Dutch building.

Masjid Jami 'new stark contrast to the Masjid Jami' old berdetail fine line, being Masjid Jami 'new half-circle-shaped curve. Jami 'does not have a separate dome on top of buildings such as mosques in general - a mosque in Indonesia, but the overall building of this mosque is the dome, from bottom to top.


This mosque has a main dome 5 and 2 small dome as a place wudlu. The main dome of the 5 have 1 dome of the most extensive, and has 2 floors. For the exterior design is very simple, only large dome that sprawled half-circle painted green with yellow seam detail.
For the dome is 2 floors of concrete reinforcement, all 8 lines meet in the middle - the middle of the dome of the yellow paint with a little decoration for air circulation.
This simplicity is what makes fasat form of dome - the dome is to be unique, such as mushrooms that are 8 split. The interior of the mosque to the top of the sky - the sky is covered by a green carpet of yellow color contrasts with the concrete reinforcement. For the second floor of the main dome in the make line - a line of wood color, which makes the impression impression menyeimbangi cool heat from the concrete-concrete domes and concrete reinforcement.
